An all-in-one platform saves you from assembling, securing and running a dozen moving parts yourself. That is the value. The convenience does not tie you to us: every part underneath is open and standard. What you build on top belongs to you, including the code, the data, the files and the intellectual property.
It is also a production platform: every release is approved by a person, recorded and reversible.

The components underneath are mainstream open-source software. Your workloads need no proprietary runtime, and nothing is stored in a closed format.
