ATAILA intends to become the primary software vendor for European service providers who run their own cloud: the multi-tenant platform in your datacentre, under your brand, with the source code in your hands, designed to run without the internet — and comparable to the hyperscalers for the services 90% of workloads use.
Why this exists
A gap Microsoft opened in 2014 and nobody closed.
In December 2013 Microsoft launched the Cloud OS Network: Windows Server, System Center and Windows Azure Pack, licensed through SPLA. A service provider could give its customers the Azure experience in its own datacentre — self-service virtual machines, web sites, SQL databases. ATAILA's founder deployed it for the largest providers in Central and Eastern Europe.
Then Azure arrived and service providers became competitors. They never got a stack as good as Azure again: Azure Stack Hub and Azure Local are Azure-attached products with a licence tax on every workload, open source included. VMware's partner programme went the same way under Broadcom. OpenStack is the open answer, and it is complicated enough to need a vendor.
ATAILA fills that gap. We are building the software a European service provider needs to run a cloud its customers cannot tell apart from a hyperscaler's — for the services 90% of workloads use — on hardware it chooses, under its own brand, with the source code in its hands. We run the same software ourselves, in our own datacentre, and we show it working in our Executive Briefing Center before anyone buys it. This is aligned with Europe's push for digital sovereignty: control of data, compute, AI and digital services, without a foreign control plane.
What your customers get
Every tenant lands in its own landing zone — network, databases, storage, identity, CI/CD and monitoring created from one manifest — and consumes the services below under your brand.
Virtual machines
Linux and Windows Server VMs on Proxmox VE, in each tenant's own landing zone with its own VLAN and firewall.
Kubernetes
Containers delivered through ArgoCD on RKE2 clusters — the container and AI substrate.
Databases
PostgreSQL per project and environment; SQL Server as a database service (new, September 2026).
Object and file storage
S3-compatible object storage and NFS shares, with backups over both.
Web hosting
Static sites and full-stack applications under one domain and one release; IIS/.NET hosts for classic Windows applications (new).
The project factory
One manifest creates a complete environment with a governed DEV → UAT → PROD pipeline in which nobody's AI touches production unreviewed.
VDI
Windows and Ubuntu cloud workstations per developer, connected to the tenant's own environments.
Private AI
An AI gateway with metering, a model catalogue and loader, and assistants running on GPUs in your datacentre.
Identity, monitoring, backup
Keycloak SSO, Prometheus and Grafana, Proxmox Backup Server, a security centre — the operations layer, inventoried in one portal.
How it is licensed
Priced like infrastructure, not like a tax. Owned like software you wrote yourself.
Per node, never per workload
A flat subscription per physical host per year. No per-VM, per-core or per-workload tax on anything you run — Windows, Linux or open source.
The source in your hands
Every customer receives the full source code of the platform under a commercial licence with an exit guarantee. If ATAILA disappeared tomorrow, you would still be running — and still able to change it.
Designed to run air-gapped
No phone-home, no licence server, no internet required to operate. Registries, PKI, secrets and the model store live inside the platform.
White-label
Your brand, your domain, your price list. Your customers never see ours.
Updates and L3 support included
Your team operates; ATAILA stays behind you with updates, security fixes and third-line support.
Hybrid: AWS first
We are building our first hybrid with AWS solutions architects, on a real customer case: agents developed in AWS, inference on ATAILA's on-prem GPU nodes — the current-generation GPU that AWS Outposts does not offer today. Azure, Oracle Cloud and Huawei Cloud follow on the roadmap, each when a customer asks or a vendor commits. Always optional, never a dependency.

There is no public price list for a service-provider platform. A written offer follows a free assessment of your estate.
Built on open source. Run by us first.
Underneath it is open source from the hypervisor up, with a bias for European projects and foundations: Proxmox VE (Austria), Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Ceph, Keycloak, OpenBao, OpenTofu, Valkey, Traefik and MikroTik RouterOS (Latvia) for networking, on standard x86 servers and NVIDIA GPUs where you want AI. Independence means control of the control plane: no foreign vendor can switch you off, meter you, or end your support date. Hardware is commodity and multi-sourced.
We eat our own dog food. The same software runs ATAILA Cloud, this website, our customers' production systems and the datacentre we are building as an Executive Briefing Center and R&D shop. The platform is tested against real operational requirements, not developed as a theoretical alternative.
